Lindy: a Slack and email teammate for meetings, inbox, and follow-ups

An AI teammate you @mention in Slack or email. It records and preps meetings, drafts replies in your voice, and waits for approval before anything with outside impact.

Setup note
An admin installs Lindy in Slack, each person links with a tap, then anyone can @mention it in a channel it has been added to. Lindy says setup takes minutes.
Price (checked Oct 15, 2026)
Start with $50 in free credits (7 days, no card). Lindy's pricing page shows paid plans from $49.99 per user a month for 5,000 pooled credits. Another Lindy page shows $29.99 for 3,000 credits.
Availability
Slack, email, iMessage, and browser. Computer use is on higher plans.

What it is

Lindy describes itself as an AI teammate for a whole team. Per Lindy’s pricing page, it includes a Slack-native teammate you @mention in threads, scheduled routines, persistent memory you can read and edit as plain files, 40-plus skills (research, data analysis, decks, dashboards), meeting recording and notes, meeting scheduling, prep and follow-up, inbox management with replies drafted in your voice, and iMessage access. It connects to 1,500-plus integrations and any hosted MCP server, and can drive a browser on higher plans.

Lindy says anything with outside impact, such as sending an email, updating a ticket, or publishing a doc, waits for approval, and read-only lookups from approved sources do not.

Best sales uses

  • Meeting prep and follow-up. Lindy lists scheduling, prep, and follow-up as built-in jobs. Ask it for a prep note before a call and a draft recap after it, and read both.
  • Inbox drafts. Replies drafted in your voice, waiting for you to approve.
  • Shared call library. Lindy says the team shares one meeting library you can ask questions of, such as “what did the buyer say about pricing.”
  • Scheduled briefs each morning, built from your inbox and calendar.

Who it’s for

AEs, CSMs, and owners who live in Slack and email and lose time to meeting admin. Less useful for list research at scale; see Manus, Clay, or Relevance AI for that.

Setup effort

Medium. Lindy says an admin installs it in Slack and everyone else links with one tap. Plan time to choose which inboxes and tools to connect and to decide what needs approval.

Pricing (checked 2026-10-15)

  • Free start: $50 in free credits, no credit card, lasting 7 days.
  • Lindy’s pricing page: paid use from $49.99 per user a month for 5,000 credits. Credits are pooled across the team. Top-ups are $10 per 1,000 credits. Unused monthly credits do not roll over. If the pool runs out, Lindy pauses credit-using actions rather than billing more.
  • Every active user takes a paid seat, including people who @mention Lindy in Slack. New Slack users get a 7-day trial before the seat is billed.
  • Lindy’s sales page shows different numbers ($29.99 for 3,000 credits). See what we could not verify.

Caveats

  • Meetings and consent. Recording calls needs consent in many places. See Safe Use.
  • Shared by design. Lindy’s meeting library is shared with the team, so check who can see what before you record customer calls.
  • Credits run out. Bigger jobs use more credits, and Lindy lists research and report jobs at 250 to 1,000 credits each.
  • Drafts only. Keep approval on for every outgoing email.

What we couldn't verify

  • The current paid price. Lindy's pricing page says Team is $49.99 a month per user for 5,000 credits, while Lindy's sales page, fetched the same day, says $29.99 for 3,000 credits with Pro and Max tiers. Confirm on the signup screen.
  • Whether computer use is on the Team plan or only on higher plans. The pricing page lists 'Computer use' under Team and also says 'Computer use on Pro and Max'.
  • How good its CRM updates are. The HubSpot examples on Lindy's page are demos.
  • Customer quotes on Lindy's page (for example 'a 5x return'). They are testimonials, and we do not repeat them as results.
